Economy DVD Authoring (DVD Creation) |
If all you need is a straight transfer from your videotape to DVD, the most economical solution is Dub-It's Video-to-DVD Transfer service. Your video program will be encoded into a high-quality auto-play* DVD-R without custom authoring costs, saving you both time and money.
*Auto-play includes:
- Capture and Compression of provided footage into MPEG-II format
(DVD Standard)
- Audio converted to AC3 (Standard Dolby Stereo Format)
- Auto-play programming: DVD-R plays automatically when loaded into
player, and although there are evenly spaced breaks to which you can skip (forward or backwards), there are no menus and/or chapter headings.
- Video-to-DVD Transfer DVD-R masters will play in all regions

Advanced DVD Authoring |
Dub-It's Advanced DVD Authoring service offers the same capture and compression process as Video-to-DVD transfer, and, in addition, offers you a custom-designed DVD master with interactive options and navigation features including:
- Chapter indexes
- On-screen navigation buttons
- Up to 15 client-specified chapter markers (video-tape source time codes
required)
- Up to two still menus with client-supplied artwork, or graphics
created from captured video frame.

(Note: still menus with audio accompaniment are considered motion
menus)
- One motion menu, with video clip provided by client
Option: Dub-It's authoring dept. can also edit and prepare
motion menu video clip- Call for more information
- Remote button response programming.
- Optional choice of region code or "all region" setting.
- Creation of DVD master "check disc" and DLT: Either of these can
be used as a master for DVD-R duplication
and DVD replication.

Copy Protection Options
Dub-It can add Macrovision* or CSS Encryption to
your custom DVD master. Copy protection features can be added as part
of the DVD Authoring process.

Premium DVD Authoring |
Premium DVD Authoring offers all of the features of Advanced Authoring, plus more complex functions such as those found on feature films, including:
- subtitles
- slideshows (with or without audio accompaniment)
- commentary and/or foreign language soundtracks
- multiple camera angles
- alternate endings
- web links
- Up to 30 client-specified chapter markers (time codes required)
- Up to 5 still menus with art supplied by client, or created from
captured video frame.
